Pope Francis called nearly 200 bishops and 10 women religious to discuss the abuse of children within the church and in the world from February 21-24th, 2019. Seven Catholic Worker Women from the US went, though not invited, to vigil and witness for the need for the church to listen to survivors and make structural change to ensure that this will never happen again.
